Botanical Drawing
You can appreciate the wonderful plants of our local area by learning some of the finer points of observation, interpretation and documentation of flora. Botanical Illustration is insightful and therapeutic. This course will teach plant observation, and drawing techniques using pencil, pen
and an introduction to water colour paint.

Dates: Sunday 10th and 17th October  
Time: 10 am to 4 pm at KRNH  (Lunch provided)

Sew & Chat
Have you ever wanted to learn how to make a patchwork quilt , embroider or make your own clothes? Now is your chance. The Neighbourhood House will be holding two full days of sewing & chatting. Various tutors will be helping you to learn how to complete your chosen craft. This will be a casual group with participants choosing their own times to attend.
Childcare may be available in our new childcare portable.
Trained volunteer childcare workers are being co-opted to assist.
Date: 9.30 - 3.00 Tuesdays & Fridays

Silver Clay Classes - with Local Artist Michelle Stewart
Silver Clay: Beginners
Make a beautiful engraved pure silver pendant using a clay mould. Each piece will be individual and will make a great Christmas present or just spoil yourself!
Time: 12.00 - 3.00pm Thursday

Cost: $70.00 per course
Silver Clay: A Full Introduction
Several silver Clay techniques will be explored in this class to make your own beautiful pure silver jewellery. Learn about and use Silver Paste, Silver Clay and Silver Syringe Techniques. You will be able to construct up to three pieces of jewellery which will make great Christmas presents or just spoil yourself! Please bring a plate of food to share for lunch.

Knit Knack
Tutor: Sarah Durrant
Learn the secrets of successful knitting and achieve results you will be proud of. Hands on skills and help with selecting a project available. All yarns, patterns & knitting needles supplied at no cost!

Memory Box

Facilitator: Leanne Mooney
A Regional Arts Victoria funded project: Illuminated by Fire
Local Artist Leanne will work with you in making your own memory box out of objects from your local environment. Techniques will include: Drawing, Printmaking , Word & Sculpture. The stories collected about these objects will be a part of an anthology that will be included in an exhibition as an end result of this project.
