You can join our ongoing groups at any time during the year.
Schedule of activities groups will be available at time of enrolling.

Historical Society
The Kinglake Historical Society works to collect and preserve the information and memorabilia related to the history of the district. Group meets the first Tuesday of each month for collating and cataloguing information and photos, or at other times by arrangement.
Time: 10.00am Call House for more details on 5786 1301
Cost: $3.00 per session held in house.
Kinglake Ranges Craft Guild
Will be meeting at KRNH for Term 3, 2010. The Guild offers a variety of crafts to get involved with.
Time: 10am - 2pm
Wednesdays
 
Cost: $3.00 per session held.

 
Kinglake Ranges Performing & Visual Arts Alliance
Facilitator: Brad Quilliam
This group is a grassroots organisation that aims to unite and encourage Kinglake artists of all types and levels, such as musical groups, choir, songwriters, poets, writers, authors, quilters, photographers, still artists, theatre/ drama groups, painters, record label engineers, sculptors, woodworkers, promoters, event organisers, and those within other performance related industries. Regular meetings are held throughout the year.
Cost: Annual House Fee plus $5.00 annual membership fee.
 
Landcare
President: Roger Cook  Landcare website (under construction)
Kinglake Landcare works with the community for the preservation and enhancement of the local environment. The group has been involved in road-side and creek rejuvenation work and has information for landowners and anyone interested in protecting and enhancing the local area.
Time Meetings: 7.30 pm, 2nd Monday of month
Cost: $5.00 annual membership fee
University of The Third Age (U3A)
What are you doing for the rest of your life? After your own childhood and a working life comes your third age—the age of active retirement. This is a time for learning and sharing—why not join a community of people sharing knowledge. U3A is a self managing group that derives its strength from its members capabilities and the sharing of their knowledge. This group would typically meet regularly for activities such as outings, guest speakers and much more. We are looking for interested people to help re-establish this group.

Expressions of interest are being sought from people wanting to be involved and from people with experience in U3A Groups.
Cost: $3.00 per session held at house.

 

 
PlayGroup
Playgroup meets every Thursday and all parents, grandparents, carers etc are welcome to bring along the kids and join in the fun. A casual, relaxed group which involves planned activities, free play, birthday parties and more.
Time: 10.30 - 12.30 noon Thursdays
 
Cost: Session costs -
$3.00 for each child.(max $6)
 
Walking Groups Weekend & Weekday
Are you interested in being involved with a walking group? We are looking for people who would like to form walking groups for fitness and for fun.
These groups would cater for those who would like to explore our local area and other walking paths further afield.

Badminton Fun & Fitness
Join this informal fun and fitness group incorporating players of all skill levels, Beginners are most welcome - racquets available, and tea/coffee provided.
At: Held at Stadium
Time: 8.00 - 10.00pm

Beading Club
Come along and learn the art of beading in a group setting. Michelle will have materials available to create beaded jewellery or bring your own bits and pieces. Techniques to be explored include: Venetian Weave, peyote Stitch and pearl knotting
