    You can join our ongoing groups at any time during the year. A one-off payment of $10.00 for an administration fee will allow you to join an ongoing group. Schedule of activities groups will beavailable at time of enrolling. For more information call the house on

    Historical Society
    The Kinglake Historical Society works to collect and preserve the information and memorabilia related to the history of the district. Group meets the first Tuesday of each month for collating and cataloguing information and photos, or at other times by arrangement.
    At: KRNH
    Time: 12pm—3pm First & Third Wednesdays of each month
    Cost: $3.00 per session + $10 annual fee
    Phoenix Choir
    Facilitator: Karen Ostenried
    The Phoenix Choir meet during the school term at the Kinglake West Uniting Church (opposite Kinglake West Primary School) on a Thursday night. Great for Stress release, Fun and laughs, Healthy for mind (mental co-ordination, memory, listening), and body (correct breathing, vocal skills). There are no auditions just regular people who like to sing!
    Time: 7.30pm-9.30pm
    Thursdays
     
    Cost: $8 per Session + $10 annual fee

     
    Genealogy Group
    Facilitator:  Diane MacLeod
    This is an informal group to share ideas and have some fun while we put the pieces of the puzzle together. Join us to learn and share information about genealogy. Everything from software, websites, places to further your research and places to visit. Learn and share
    about how to find information locally and abroad including births, deaths, marriages, census information, ships passenger lists, military records and more.
    At: KRNH  
    Time: 6.30pm—8.30pm
    2nd Thursday of each month starting.
     
    Cost: $3 per Session + $10 annual fee  
    Landcare           
    President: Tim Connell
    Kinglake Landcare works with the community for the preservation and enhancement of the local environment. The group has been involved in roadside and creek rejuvenation work and has
    information for landowners and anyone interested in protecting and enhancing the local area.
    At: Kinglake Memorial Reserve (Upstairs in Scout Hall)
    Time Meetings: 7.30 pm, 2nd Monday of month
    Cost: $10.00 annual membership fee
    Garden Group
    This group meets throughout the year for field trips, workshops and information sessions as scheduled. We hold two plant / cutting swaps throughout the year Keen gardeners, beginner gardeners and those who just love gardens are all welcome.

    Time Second Friday of the Month
    Start: 11am
    Cost: $3 per session + $10 annual fee
    PlayGroup
    Facilitator: Sue Porter
    Group meets at the House every Monday and Thursday. Mondays Playgroup is for children under 1 years and Thursdays groups is from 1 year and above. All parents, grandparents, carers etc are welcome to bring along the kids and join in the fun. A casual, relaxed group which involves planned activities, free play, birthday parties and more.
    Time: Mondays:        10am - 12 noon (under two years) or,
    Tuesdays:       10am - 12 noon (Babies to one year) or,
    Wednesdays:  10am - 12 noon (All ages)
     
    Cost: $3 session up to maximum $6 per session depending on number of children per family.
    + $10 annual fee per family per year.
     

    Weekend Walking Group
    Facilitator: Gail Campain
    The Weekend walking group meets on the third Sunday of the month. This group meets at the Kinglake Bakery and caters for those who would like to explore our local area and other walking paths further afield with most walks taking 3 to 4 hours.

    Wominjeka Youth Group
    Kinglake Youth Group Wominjeka is a Youth Drop In Centre, that meets at various times during the week. Program is supervised. Lots of fun activities included!!
