    Chinese Medicine, Philosophy and Lifestyle
    Tutor: Dr. Angela Palmer
During the 8 week course we will cover the daily cycles of the body and thus understanding the way Qi moves through the body and how to live a balanced life.  And ways to get the most of your body.  We then extend this out to living with the seasons, adjusting our lifestlyes rather than just trying to change the environment to suit us.  We look at a variety of exercise routines and relaxation techniques to enchance your life and how these affect your body.  also in this series we look at the major causes of degenerative diseases and how poor lifestlye choices contribute to these, and positive ways to both prevent and mange symptons.

University of The Third Age (U3A)
What are you doing for the rest of your life? After your own childhood and a working life comes your third age—the age of active retirement. This is a time for learning and sharing—why not join a community of people sharing knowledge. U3A is a self managing group that derives its strength from its members capabilities and the sharing of their knowledge. This group will typically meet regularly for activities such as outings, guest speakers and much more. We are looking for interested people to help re-establish this group.
